Our hot air balloon flights offer a shared experience with a capacity of 8, 10, or 12 people depending on the size of the balloon. Each flight provides breathtaking panoramic views of Marrakech and its surroundings, including the beautiful palm groves, the ancient medina, and the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains at dawn.
This early morning adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation, followed by a scenic drive to the launch site. After a traditional Moroccan tea and welcome cakes, you'll board the balloon for a flight lasting between 40 and 60 minutes. After landing, return to base to enjoy a delicious Moroccan breakfast before being transported back to your hotel.

- Flight Duration: Your hot air balloon flight lasts approximately one hour, for a total experience of 3 to 4 hours, including balloon preparation and refreshments.
- Conditions: The hot air balloon offers a gentle aerial experience, flights are only conducted when winds are below 18 km/h. Passengers remain standing throughout the flight.

Weather Conditions
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, hot air balloon flights require good weather conditions: optimal visibility, light winds, stable air, and no precipitation - conditions frequently met in Marrakech.
If weather conditions are not favorable on the day of your flight, it will be postponed to a later date, usually the next day. Since hot air balloon flights are highly dependent on weather conditions, we may cancel a flight at the last minute, even just before takeoff. Your safety is our absolute priority.
Cancellation Policy - Important to Know
If weather conditions do not allow us to fly:
- Forecasts are reliable enough in advance and we cancel the day before arrival: We agree with passengers to postpone the flight. If this is not possible, we refund 100% of the flight payment.
- Forecasts are good, but we find on-site conditions that make takeoff impossible: We offer a Moroccan breakfast and refund 100% of the payment for this flight.
Cancellation by the client:
- If the client cancels less than 24 hours before the flight date: 100% of the total booking amount is due to ATLANTIC AIR BALLOON.
- No-show (non-presentation at the confirmed time, already confirmed the day before the flight): 100% of the total booking amount is due to ATLANTIC AIR BALLOON.

Absolutely magical experience!
The hot air balloon flight over Marrakech was the highlight of our trip to Morocco! Watching the sunrise from above the city was breathtaking.
