Perfect escape from Marrakech!
This day trip was absolutely perfect! Essaouira is such a beautiful contrast to Marrakech. Our guide Fatima was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us all the best photo spots. The seafood lunch by the port was one of the best meals we had in Morocco. The journey was comfortable, and seeing the goats in the argan trees was such a fun bonus!

Enjoyable day trip but long drive
Very enjoyable day trip. The drive is quite long (2.5 hours each way) but comfortable. I would have liked more free time in Essaouira, but the guided tour was excellent. Seeing the goats in the argan trees was a fun bonus! The city itself is beautiful and much more relaxed than Marrakech. Would recommend if you have enough days in your Morocco itinerary.

La parfaite échappée de Marrakech
This was the perfect escape from the busy streets of Marrakech. The coastal breeze in Essaouira was refreshing, and the town is absolutely charming. Our guide spoke excellent French and was very attentive. The fresh fish lunch was affordable and delicious! The blue boats in the port make for wonderful photos, and the medina is much more relaxed for shopping than in Marrakech.
